On Thursday, the 3rd of November, 2016. The minister of Higher Education and Scientific research of Kurdistan Regional Government, Dr. Yusuf Goran, welcomed Dr. Abd-ALrazaq Abd-Al- Jaleel Isaa, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Iraq. Afterwards, a meeting was held between the two sides and ways of scientific development and establishing the Academic plans were discussed.

Worth mentioning, both sides made an agreement on establishing a higher committee under the supervision of Dr. Yusuf Goran and Dr. Abd-ALrazaq Abd-Al- Jaleel Isaa and seven special committees that consist of:

1- Bachelor study.

2- Scientific studies.

3- Quality Assurance.

4- Private Universities' registration and recognition.

5- The committee of fellowship and scholarships.

6- The national committee of Strategic plans: Education and Higher education.

7- The committee specialized with the legal affairs and postgraduate studies.
